So if you want to imagine sitting at home how thin the phone is, then look at the Type C port of your phone and if I fold this phone now, then do you know what is its thickness? I had shown the example of S25 Ultra. It is very similar. But in comparison to the old Zeefold 6, it was 12.1 mm thick after being folded. But this latest Zeefold 7 is coming with a thickness of only 8.9 mm. So you must have got a picture in your mind that this phone has become so thin. And believe me this thing is mattering a lot in real life. Especially its in-hand feeling has completely changed. And in my opinion Samsung has made a very good practical change by making this phone a little wider. So because of this the cover display is feeling more usable to me. It is giving the feeling of a normal phone. And I have told this thing earlier also that the old Zeefold 6 was a little thin, narrow. So it was not so much fun to use the covered display. And as I always say that the hinge matters a lot in any folding phone, that is, the area from which this phone folds here is called the hinge. This time Samsung has upgraded the material of this hinge. Titanium has been used. And like before the hinge is very strong. That means the display folds at any angle. But guys, let me show you a funny thing. If I keep this Zeefold 7 without cover on a flat surface, you will see that it wobbles a lot. Obviously it will wobble. Look at the camera module, it is very thick. To me, the thickness of the phone and the thickness of the camera module seem almost the same. Let me tell you another fun fact. Compared to S25 Ultra, Zeefold 7 is 3 grams lighter. Now this phone weighs 215 grams. Now this phone is coming with IP4 treatment. This means resistance to both dust and water. And the cover display has been made strong, Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 has been used. It is a very good glass and Gorilla Glass Victs 2 has been used on the back panel. Again, this is also a good glass. But I liked the clarity of the speakers of this phone, but the volume seemed a little low and I found the haptic feedback to be okay. So overall, I believe that Samsung has made solid changes in the design. Now let's quickly discuss the display. Samsung always puts a very good display in its folding phones. This is a fact. But this time if I talk about some changes, then the cover display has been made 6.5 inches. A while ago I discussed with you that the cover display now looks like a normal phone. So like 6.5 inches is also a good screen size. And if I unfold the phone and show it, then now there is a very big display of 8 inches. Whose resolution is almost 2K. And if I talk about the refresh rate, then both the inner display and the cover display come with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. And the most important thing is that I was using this phone outdoors and the cover display was also very well visible. In fact, the inner display which folds also has no problem in outdoor visibility. and for battery testing I was watching HDR content on both these displays. I think the color tuning or the brightness is very good here and obviously the HDR content was supposed to look bright because there is a peak brightness of 2600 nits. But did you notice one thing that when we watch content on the bigger display by changing the orientation, the punch-hole camera is clearly visible. Now the back story is that last year's Samsung Galaxy Zult 6 did not use an under-display camera. Now the problem with that under-display camera was that its quality was not good, so Samsung had to bring back the punch-hole camera. So if Samsung had placed the punch-hole camera a little in the corner, then it would not have come in the way of the content. But guys, the battery department is exactly the same as last year. You get a 4400 mAh battery. Now Samsung says that they have increased the battery backup with software optimization, which I will have to test. But yes, if it had a bigger battery, it would have obviously been better. And I have also thought of switching from S25 Ultra to use this Fold 7 for a few days. This will give me a complete idea of what the exact story of the battery is. The rest of the charging standards are the same as last year. Supports 25 W wire charging and wireless charging at 15 W. But now I would like to discuss the software with you because this is a little exciting part and this is the first phone that is coming with Android 16 out of the box. In fact, we are also seeing One 8 for the first time in this phone. And obviously like all other expensive phones of Samsung, this phone also comes with a seven-year update policy. So these things are cool. But let me tell you more interesting things. Which is related to the feature and many new features have come. For example, now if we try to remove anything from the generative AI, the phone will automatically suggest that we can remove all these things. Like this is a photo. I mean you understood the example, right? There can be many use cases of this. And now in the gallery app, if you have recorded a video, using the audio eraser has become very easy. But a toggle is created and with its help we can reduce all the background noise. And other features of Samsung such as Now Brief, Live Bar, Better Animations, in fact full control over animations, all these are available. And since this is a folding phone, if I talk about multitasking, it is the same as before. Here we can open three windows in split screen and there is also an option of floating windows. But guys, I hope Samsung enhances multitasking in the future and anyway, we have discussed the software in so much detail, right? But guys, now let's discuss the performance a little. Look, things here are as expected. The good thing is that we are getting the best performance in this phone from Snapdragon 8 LED. Now the variant I have is of 12GB RAM and 51.2GB storage. Where you get UFS4 storage and LPDDR 5X RAM. There is another variant which has 16GB RAM and 1TB storage if you are an extra power user. And if I talk about benchmarks, whether it is N2 or Geekbench, both are getting very good scores. And I had run a stress test on this phone because it is such a thin phone, so I think its stability has come down a bit. So according to the benchmarks, the performance is very good. But people buy folding phones for a lot of productivity. Where they do a lot of multitasking. And to test multitasking, I opened a lot of apps in this phone. I mean I used all the apps in multi windows. Now obviously this If we open three normal apps in this phone, then it will run fine. So I guess guys, in multitasking, I think there was no problem in the old Fold, so there is no problem in this too. And obviously to judge in a better way how well the phone is performing. So I have played games like Withering Waves and Generation Impact in this phone. And I have done gaming directly on the big display. Let's talk about Withering Waves first. Now since I am playing on the big display, I was getting around 42 FPS there. But when I shifted this game to the small display, I started getting 60fps directly there. But if I talk about Generation Impact, then it is working very well even on the big display, like I was getting 55 to 60fps. I think guys, it is pretty obvious brother. Snapdragon 8 is the best. I think no one will have any doubt in the performance. So let's talk about the camera directly because there has been a big upgrade in the main camera. Because this time Samsung has used a 200 megapixel camera. Earlier it was 50 megapixels. The rest of the telephoto and ultra wide lens are the same as before, 10 and 12 megapixels. But guys, there is a change in the ultra wide lens that auto focus has come now. So that's why we can also take photos with the ultra wide lens. So first let's talk about the main camera. Guys, see its photo. Now here, since it is 200 megapixels and a slightly better camera sensor, I am seeing a big difference in details here because more details are coming and while looking at these photos, I felt that things have been made quite similar to S25 Ultra, meaning the colors are more natural, have been improved and the saturation has also increased a little, which looks good and in mostly all lighting situations, whether it is complicated or normal lighting situation, HDR is also performing well, it can happen only in some rare cases where a purple tint is found and the main camera is performing very well even in low light. Details are coming there as well and enough brightness is also coming. And if I talk specifically about human shots, I think skin tone is the most important thing here, which is coming out accurate, I believe, and rich details are also visible on the skin and technically speaking, HDR is also performing well. Now if I talk about zoom portraits, they are captured with a 10 megapixel telephoto lens. Now if I judge by 10 megapixels, I think these results are coming out well. But sometimes it may happen that on zooming in a little bit, some noise may be visible. But since this is a portrait photo, here we can judge the cut out, which is accurate according to me and the background blur also looks professional to me. And if you take these general zoom photos with a telephoto lens, then the details come out well in good lighting situations. But whenever the camera needs to do more processing, then some noise can be seen. But guys, I really liked the ultrawide lens. This is because there has been an improvement in HDR and colours, so because of that, the photos taken with the ultrawide lens look much better to me. And guys, if I talk about selfies, this is a folding phone. Now here we get a lot of flexibility that we can capture selfies even with the main camera. In fact, there are two more selfie cameras here. One is in the cover display and the other one is when we unfold the phone, so I told you about it around the big display, which is the new punch hole camera, we can also capture selfies with it. But here also there is an interesting thing that there is a difference between the front camera with cover display and the front camera with inner display. The front camera with inner display is wider which you can see in this photo and if we think practically then the camera with inner display will help in video calls so it should be wide and guys if I talk about video then we can shoot 4K 60fps with all the lenses and I will show you the footage of the back camera. I think even here HDR is working very well. Even if there is a difficult lighting situation. And if I talk about these general colors in the video then according to me they remain realistic. And if I switch the lens then there is a mini color shift. And I think the stabilization of the video remains good with all the lenses. So guys I think the upgrade that has come in the main camera this time was very required. Similarly, I hope 3X also gets an upgrade next year. And if we look at the overall camera, then there are a lot of good changes as compared to Zeefold 6. So after testing this phone completely, I felt a simple thing that earlier there was a barrier in folding phones that they did not give a normal feeling. They used to be very thick. In the pocket also it felt like a brick or the camera in the old Zee-Fone was not the best. But this time Samsung has removed all these barriers and has given it the feel of a normal phone. There is a massive difference only because of being thin. And most importantly now the cover display is feeling like a normal phone. Meaning mostly work can be done in the cover display. And the main camera has also been upgraded so much that Very good photos are coming, so if judged overall, this is a better phone than the previous one. Its starting price is ₹1,75,000.
